Storyline

Hope's War is the story of Anton, a shy adolescent of German descent living in rural New Zealand during World War 2, and Hope, a tomboy and his best friend. When Hope and Anton win a class challenge to become ARP messengers, Anton's achievement is disregarded by their patriotic teacher. Hope's brother, and class bully, George is promoted instead. With new power and a stolen aldis lamp, George and his gang set out on a childish game to lure in and capture Hitler, using Anton as the bait. Written by Anonymous
