Did You Know?

When Dr.s Walker and Jordan are examining the blood sample and find an organism, Dr. Jordan exclaims that it is "only 15 nanometers". First, on the screen, the scale bar would indicate it is closer to 15 microns (length, maybe 0.5 microns in diameter), second, the practical resolution limit of this kind of instrument is 200 nm and that would not be nearly as clear an image. The only way to see an object this small would be to use an electron microscope, which requires a sealed vacuum chamber and so cannot image living organisms. As well, high magnification in an optical microscope requires using an oil immersion lens which has a very short focal length meaning that the objective (lens) would appear to be nearly touching the specimen. You can see that there are several inches between the stage, where the sample would be, and the magnification lenses. See more »

Do you know the way to San Jose?

The show starts off with a bang with some eerie beginnings happening or spiraling out of control right off the bat and then a good close clue is represented it's in the article not directly the artic circle more like a who's who type of game with even more eerie clues shown.

Artic biosystems an engineered little happy place(watch the other episodes to get my drift) where a really big mishap just occurred without warning a virus is unleashed a devastating earth bound virus though it isn't airborne that doesn't mean anything at least not yet.

CDC headquarters Atlanta Georgia CDC members gather around a Campfire like room depicting such outbreaks while being admitted or noticed about artic biosystems.

Helicopter appears LIFT OFF has begun

the investigation begins on day one(1)

Tune in and watch the rest of the show if you have the guts to do it(no pun intended)
