The Glass Dome

Look, I very well know that giving a low rating creates a lot of thumb downs. But there is just no possiblity to ever give this show anything higher than an IMDb rating of 4 stars. Let me explain why.

So, I was looking forward to an evening filled with some great Nordic Noir. This where I would be on my edge of my seat of the suspense. I always like Nordic Noir since it makes me wonder who is the murderer.

Well, in this case, it was pretty clear from watching episode 1, whom the murderer is. And the rest of the episodes just drag on and on, with sidelines that are very uninteresting.

Combine that with dull scenery (yes, this seems possible in the beautiful Nordics) and mediocre acting and you are left with an unappealing mini-series. I looked back, and I think that reducing this mini-series to only 3 episodes is easily possible. Just watch episodes one, two and six. And I guarantee you that you won't have missed a thing.

Overall, I score this mini-series as 4.3/10, resulting in an IMDb rating of 4 stars. It fails to deliver in all aspects and I clearly recommend you to look for an alternative watch. There is just so much more interesting to watch than spending your time on this dull show.
