Nice try

A really neat idea and and a well thought out piece overall. Unfortunately it is a bit shaken by performances and dialog. Now if you are not fluent and nuanced in the German language you may not notice the lack of emotion behind the spoken words. It's not that every sentence or word lacks it, but you can feel people repeating words and not having experienced them.

It's like if you read something that someone else wrote but you can't get emotionally behind. That lack or power in the performance is something that impacted my rating. Again you may not feel that, especially if you see it in a subtitled form. Even then you may notice some "strange" dialog choices. Whatever you make of it, the twist at the end is a bit much and just another attempt to sway the viewer with a shock ... I don't think it works in its favor
