Trivia

Vince Gilligan revealed on an interview that his original plan was to shape the show on season 1 and eventually step out and let Peter Gould run the series full-time, but making the season was so creatively fulfilling that he changed his mind and decided to also run it on an every day basis. Goofs

Hector Salamanca's "plan" to keep his nephew out of prison makes little sense. Even if Mike were to claim that he was the one who brought the gun, Tuco is stated to be a felon and thus cannot be in possession of a firearm legally for any reason. His sentence would still be significant regardless of Mike's testimony, especially if his prior crimes were violent.

Additionally, the federal government has often stepped in to prosecute drug offenders who are caught with weapons. Given the fact that the ABQ police know Tuco to be a serious player in the local drug scene as well as a violent ex-con, they might be just as likely to turn his prosecution over to the feds as they are to lower the charges against him. Gilligan and Gould do it again !!!
10 March 2015 | by See all my reviews

Six episodes in to Better Call Saul now - and like Breaking Bad did - it just gets better and better. Tonights episode was something really special IMO

I look forward to Tuesdays like never before

Terrific plots - writing - acting - direction - cinematography etc etc etc in short a really great story very well told by all the cast and crew

How brave of everyone involved to take this project on after the HUGE success of Breaking Bad - knowing so many eyes would be on them - comparing and judging from the very first episode !!! Better Call Saul hit the road running though and has never disappointed me (and it would seem the vast majority of other viewers)

The hopes and expectations of so many people were in their hands and EVERYONE involved with Better Call Saul has done us proud

Bob Odenkirk is doing a fantastic job as the main character - in recent years he has been wonderful in Breaking Bad, Fargo and now BCS - not a bad catalogue of work to put in your resume !!!

Got the DVD ordered already
