Interesting Character/actor twist
19 April 2016 | by stevenbgrissomSee all my reviews

Michael Pitt, who played Jan Stroop, and Gary Oldman, who played bad-ass CIA guy, Quaker Wells, both played Mason Verger, of "Hannibal" fame. Oldman played the elderly version of Verger, trying to trap and torture Hannibal Lecter. Pitt played a young Verger version in the more recent, and now defunct, "Hannibal" television series. While Oldman is a critically acclaimed actor, and widely recognized for his expertise. Pitt has played some very unusual roles throughout the course of his career. One of his most memorable, at least for me, was one of his early roles. As a high school psychopath, opposite his classmate and psychopath buddy, Ryan Gosling, and cop, Sandra Bullock, in "Murder By Numbers". An awesome flick. If you haven't viewed it... You should.
