Trivia

The insults thrown at Daenerys and her army by the Meereneese champion are the ones thrown at King Arthur and his men in Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), translated into Valyrian.

The insults hurled from the French castle in Monty Python and the Holy Grail are:
  • You don't frighten us, English pig-dogs!
  • Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person.
  • I blow my nose at you, so-called Arthur King.
  • You and all your silly English knights.
  • You empty-headed, animal food-trough wiper.
  • I fart in your general direction
  • Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries.

Quotes

Podrick Payne: There's something else, my lord. A man, I didn't know his face, he came to ask if I'd testify against you. Said I'd be named Ser Podrick Payne if I told the judges you'd bought a poison called the strangler.
Tyrion Lannister: Ser Podrick Payne? Has a nice ring to it. What did you tell him?

Tyrion Lannister: Are you going to accept their offer?
Podrick Payne: My lord.
Tyrion Lannister: Testifying against me wasn't a suggestion. If they can't tempt you with honey, they'll choose something less sweet.
Podrick Payne: You've been good to me, my...

Not nearly as excellent as the first two, but is still interesting

Breaker of Chains isn't nearly as excellent as the first two, but it's still a great episode. Yes, the pacing does feel a bit uneven and the rape scene was a bit unnecessary, but those are the only problems I have and everything else turned out fine.

The performances are still good, the storyline/script continues to be well-written, the directing is still solid, the relationships continue to shine, the editing is sharp, the music score is still beautiful while maintaining a sense of atmosphere, and the characters continue to be interesting. So, overall, not nearly as excellent as the first two, but it's still interesting.
