"Plan and Execution" is a gritty crime drama, set in a bleak and cold urban landscape. The story follows Nick, a rough looking drug dealer, and Dan, a young man with potential but caught in a cycle of criminality. Together they carry out a low level robbery at a convenience store that spirals out of control. When the cashier is unintentionally killed, both Nick and Dan must hide out together. The incident haunts Dan, as he questions the moral implications of their actions and the choices he has made. While Nick remains unrepentant of his actions and seeks solace in drug use. This divide in reaction to their situation combined with the heavy usage of drugs causes Nick to question Dan's loyalty and motives. As tensions run high and Nick becomes erratic and aggressive, Dan feels that his life is in danger and is forced to make an impromptu plan to poison Nick. The film culminates in a tense and morally charged moment of truth, spearheaded by a decision that could change Dan's life. Throughout the film, themes of crime and consequences, trust and betrayal, moral dilemmas, isolation, and unpredictability are explored as the characters grapple with their own demons and the fallout of their choices.
