Loved it until season 3
10 September 2017 | by matthewkernodleSee all my reviews

I used to always love watching this show. The videos were hilarious, and I loved Mocean Melvin and his commentary. It was a great show.

And then came season 3, when Charlie Schlatter became the narrator. His voice is irritating, he's really mean-spirited, and he constantly makes fun of Cameron Diaz for no discernible reason. In seasons 1 and 2, Mocean Melvin would usually applaud the people in certain videos for doing something brilliant. In season 3, Charlie Schlatter would most likely criticize them. His rude nature ruined the show for me.

One other gripe that I have (not just because of season 3, but the whole show) is that the clip of the week is usually a scripted video (often underwhelming). For example, for the top 20 awkward moments, the #1 clip was a scripted video of two dogs having their first date. I mean come on.

The first two seasons were great. If it weren't for season 3, I would have given this show a higher rating. Unfortunately, Charlie Schlatter ruined the show for me. Whenever the show is on, I always hope that it is from season 1 or 2. I still enjoy the clips, but not Schlatter's commentary (and especially his Cameron Diaz jokes). I feel that the show was cancelled for the better.
