Zoe is blissfully happy when she sees how well Joel is adjusting to BlueBell, until she learns the townspeople might have a different opinion of him. Wanting to make things better, Zoe volunteers herself and Joel to chaperone the Go Girl Tween Adventure Camp, but when Joel refuses to go along, she is left to fix the town's perception on her own. After a rough start with Lynly, George is pleasantly surprised when he learns they work well together. Meanwhile, Lavon is desperate to be part of the Gazebos of Alabama calendar, but when a crucial flower mistake jeopardizes his plan, Lavon begs Lemon to help save the day.
Joel isn't convinced when Zoe, who can't stomach a dubious poll suggesting her New York lover is still rather unpopular, commandeers him to coax the reverend Peter Mayfair into endorsing him to the congregation by taking over his duties as chaperons of the troublesome Go Girl Tween Adventure Camp. Joel reconsiders after talking to and drinking too much with amused wade, who drives him there to witness the inevitable debacle, despite George having accepted to stand in after Joel's refusal. George sort of declared clingy Lynly redeemed when she proves an able quiz partner and Zoe learns the actual unpopularity problem. Lavon begs Lemon to take over from botanically ignorant Cricket, as the Belles need their ablest leader to floridly decorate the town gazebo well enough to make the Alabama shortlist and be published, while Lemon reconsiders searching her perfect moon date Peter.
