Untitled Symphony (2013)

This piece is a cinematic poem that challenges our notions about love and connection. What would you do if you loved someone too much to hate them even though they weren't sure about being with you? Would you wish them well allowing them room to find themselves or would you convince them to stay out of self concern? There is the rub....
A very gifted and established conductor, Konstantin Becker and an equally gifted concert pianist Maria Dubois share a marriage like bond within the realm of their music/art. When the conductors wife passes away after a long and serious illness, Maria thinks their relationship now has the opening needed for the full expression of their love. Konstantin however runs off to the mountains to find out who he really is outside of the settings that were his life/career. Maria does not know how to cope with this at first but over the course of the film she reaches an unprecedented level of understanding. A poetic story of music and love.
