Binged to Death

Really fun watch! If you love dating shows, highly recommend this movie. Easy, quick, hilarious. Great acting from lonnie love. Hilarious in spoofing dating show tropes but at the same time shows a clear love for the shows that all creating parties have. Writers were clearly going for a comedy primarily that has aspects of horror and enough scares and gore to keep it interesting and well-paced. The uses of horror are oftentimes used for humor, and these scenes were often the ones that made me laugh the hardest. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hilarious and entertaining movie. Exactly what i hoped for when I first saw this advertised!

Picture this: dating tv show meets a hostage movie, and it's a scream fest of funny scares. Loni's got that quick wit that'll have you snorting with laughter, and Carl? He's the jokester we all need in our lives. It's like they took every dating tv show disaster and gag and game we've ever heard of and put 'em in a haunted blender. Trust me, you'll be laughing so hard, you might just spook the ghosts away. Grab the popcorn and let's dive into this haunted dating carnival together!

"Binged to Death" feels like one of those RuPaul's Drag Race acting challenges made into a movie, with the overacting toned down...a little. Loni Love knows how to crank up the camp!

You don't have to watch reality dating shows to appreciate this movie, but it probably helps.

The only major criticism I have is that it would have been nice to have more background information about the reality show lovebirds. Not having that does lead to a few funny reveals, but we could know more about them (so we can invest in them) and have those jokes still work.

Overall, a fun little silly campy treat! Like RuPaul says, how the hell are you gonna love somebody else if you can't love yourself?
