‘Little Evil’ Review (Netflix)

Stars: Adam Scott, Evangeline Lilly, Owen Atlas, Sally Field, Clancy Brown, Tyler Labine, Donald Faison, Bridget Everett | Written and Directed by Eli Craig

Other people’s kids can be the worst, huh? Spare a thought for poor Gary (Adam Scott) whose six-year-old stepson may well be the Antichrist. Otherwise happily married to the lovely Samantha (Evangeline Lilly), Gary is prepared to do anything he can to get little Lucas on side… even if that means risking his own life and those around him. Parenting can be, ahem, Hell.

Little Evil is the latest comedy horror from Tucker and Dale vs Evil writer-and-director Eli Craig, a film beloved by no small portion of the horror community. With seven years between this and Craig’s celebrated debut, can he pull it off again? Or is Little Evil as predictable and lame as its trailer suggested?

Thankfully, no! While the comedy is played

Here's what's you'll be logging on and checking out over the next month. (For our standard TV recommendations, click here.)

‘Super Troopers 2’ Nsfw Trailer: Highway Patrol Is Back On Duty

Sixteen years ago, “Super Troopers” hit theaters. It was mildy diverting, with some funny bits that will live forever on YouTube, but I didn’t imagine anybody would care to see more. Well, there were enough people who wanted a followup, that an Indiegogo campaign was successfully funded, so here we are with “Super Troopers 2.”

Netflix’s Original Movie “Little Evil” Trailer Just Dropped

Netflix just dropped the official trailer for their newest original movie, “Little Evil,” set to release September 1st, 2017. This horror slash comedy flick stars Evangeline Lilly, of Lost and Real Steel fame, and Adam Scott, popular from Parks and Recreation and Step Brothers. If you were a big fan of Netflix’s previous release, the outlandish horror, comedy mash up the “Santa Clarita Diet” (in which Drew Barrymore portrays a newly minted, flesh eating Mom and Wife) in it looks like you’ll be in for a treat. “Little Evil” is described on the Netflix page as “absurd, scary, irreverent,” and

‘Little Evil’ Trailer: Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly Raise the Antichrist
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is a fantastic horror comedy. Eli Craig‘s directorial debut is a sweet, bloody as hell and consistently funny film with two standout performances. Adam Scott Battles an Evil Child in First Trailer for Netflix's 'Little Evil'

"There is nothing wrong with Lucas!" Netflix has released the official trailer for an indie horror comedy titled Little Evil, the latest from Eli Craig, director of the other great horror comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Remember that one? We covered it closely when it opened back in 2010. Little Evil stars Adam Scott as a man who marries the woman of his dreams, played by Evangeline Lilly. The only problem is that her child is the antichrist. Also starring Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Tyler Labine, Donald Faison, Chris D'Elia, and Owen Atlas as Lucas. This looks good, don't think we've seen many comedies making fun of the evil child horror trope, but I'm up for this. Glad to see something new from Eli Craig, too. Enjoy. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Eli Craig's Little Evil, direct from Netflix's YouTube: Meet Gary (Adam Scott). He just married

Coming Distractions: Adam Scott is the antichrist’s stepdad in the Little Evil trailer

Proving there’s still mileage in the old cliché about kids making your life hell, the new Netflix film Little Evil has a trailer implying that marrying someone who gave birth to the antichrist might make for some hiccups on your romantic journey together. Adam Scott stars as Gary, a guy who just married the love of his life, Samantha (Evangeline Lilly), and finds himself playing stepfather to her five-year-old son, Lucas. But a series of worrying events—including Lucas barking orders at him in a low, raspy growl, and watching the kid burn people alive—has him wondering if maybe Samantha’s kid may not just be the spawn of Satan. And really, her story about giving birth while she was part of a demonic cult doesn’t help matters.

It all looks like it has the potential to be some cheesy garbage, but along with the presence of

Love, Family And The Antichrist Combine In Offbeat Trailer For Netflix’s Little Evil

Picture the scene: you’re a stepfather madly in love with the woman of your dreams. Things are going swimmingly, until you discover that her quirky five-year-old son is actually the spawn of Satan.

That is, in a nutshell, the elevator pitch of Little Evil, Netflix’s offbeat new comedy from the mind of Eli Craig (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil). Headed up by Adam Scott (Parks & Recreation) and Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man and the Wasp), the trailer above introduces us to Gary (Scott), an Average Joe who finds himself smack bang in the middle of a Doomsday conspiracy upon realizing that his new stepson, Lucas (Owen Atlas), harbors all of the qualities of the Antichrist.

The film’s horror callbacks help drive that point home, too, as Lucas is placed face-to-face with an old analog TV (see: Poltergeist) along with the shot of him playing on a rickety old swing a la The Omen.
