Storyline

A road trip, music documentary about the alternative-country band, Lonesome Heroes, from the live music capitol, Austin, Texas. The film follows their van-camper, as they traverse the entirety of US Highway 287 from Port Arthur, Texas to Glacier National Park, Montana. A diverse set of band members are seen hitting every house party, church, and cowboy bar in sight, as they navigate a highway originally intended for travelers chasing the seasons north and the sun south. Essentially a how-to for up and coming bands on touring the US without the typical support a national touring act would receive. Lonesome Heroes show what it's like to self promote and perform an unconventional tour, that invariably leads to adventure and experience on the unpredictable road. Written by Anonymous
