The sun drenched days of summer turn dark and ominous for hitchhiking duo Jack and Véronique when they become inexplicably entangled with a mysterious married couple and a local road kill collector in rural France.

The idea for the story came to director Abner Pastoll
in summer 2001 while traveling in France, when he was staying in a "creepy mansion." It wasn't until late 2008 that he finally started developing it into a feature screenplay, which was completed in 2011. It took a further 3 years for financing and casting before filming began on July 20, 2014 - almost 13 years to the day he originally thought about the idea. See more
