In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she's Divergent and won't fit in. When she discovers a plot to destroy Divergents, Tris and the mysterious Four must find out what makes Divergents dangerous before it's too late.
Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.
Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games: a televised competition in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death.
As she searches for allies and answers in the wake of the uprising, Tris and Four are on the run. Being hunted by Jeanine Matthews, the leader of the Erudite faction, Tris and Four will race against time as they try to figure out what Abnegation sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris faces one impossible challenge after another as she unlocks the truth about the past and ultimately the future of her world.
Many fans criticized the fact that Tris was able to fire a gun confidently (while in the novel is unable to hold a gun in her hands, due to PTSD), she only fires it once throughout the movie & doesn't even harm anyone with it either. See more »
As Caleb, Four, and Tris are being chased by the Dauntless vehicles from the Amity compound, the distance between the vehicles and the runners constantly changes. The initial camera angle above the compound shows a Dauntless vehicle not too far from the runners. The next camera angle shows the runners outrunning the Dauntless vehicles [which in the previous scene had outpaced some Dauntless guards chasing the runners] and widening the gap. Then the next camera angle from above again shows the distance between the runners has decreased, yet the runners are STILL able to outrun the Dauntless vehicles and escape into the woods. See more »

A 4 is probably generous. I'm getting sick of the Elysium genre and this is the same thing with the exception of some vivid dreams. The elites have sequestered themselves on the same planet this time. The plot is the elites can and do openly mind control everyone and segregate the population the way they think it should be separated, but some special people can't be mind controlled and have to be dealt with, by violence of course. Suffice it to say it gets weird. I mean weird. Goofy. Nonsensical. Unbelievable. All accurate descriptions of this out of control mess. I didn't see the first one, and now probably won't because I already want this 2 hours back.
