Storyline

The police surround the flat but David hands the gun over to Greg, explaining that it was his father's gun, which he had found and wanted to get rid of. Nikki is verbally abused by Charlie's father and DI Klein wants her suspended but Clarissa and Jack discover that the gun found by David did not kill Charlie and nor could he have killed Byron Lee. The pathologists work out that the real serial killer had an alarming insight into David Bennetto's background and their motive was not sexual but obsessed with having power over others. Circumstances also end Nikki's involvement with Greg Walker. Written by don @ minifie-1

Very deep, intelligent mystery.
25 October 2018 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

The first part was very strong, the second part continues in the same vain, with a very satisfying conclusion.

Coup de Grace, the final blow or shot delivered to a wounded or injured animal, the mercy shot as it were. That title has more of a relevance then you think, as you learn the identity of the killer, and understand their motives.

The solution comes as a real bolt oit of the blue, one I didn't see coming. The interest once again lies with the clash between Police and phorensics. Lorraine Ashbourne is once again terrific as the DI, Michael Socha again excellent as David. This time round I think it's Tobias Menzies who steals the show.

Credit to Nikki, I mean is that woman ever wrong?

I thought this was excellent. 9/10
