Before Tony and Ziva leave Washington, DC, Gibbs diverts them from Rome to Berlin; Vance, Gibbs, and Ziva meet with Orli, the new chief of the Mossad; they discuss the shooting of a Mossad agent in a Nova suburb of Washington the night before. Ducky makes a postmortem exam of the dead agent. In Berlin Ziva meets an old friend (a Mossad agent), who helps; Ilan Bodnar, Eli's killer, contacts Ziva. In Washington Vance and Gibbs confront Orli. In Berlin Tony and Ziva grab the diamonds and a guy, although he's not Ilan but rather his brother Yaniv; nonetheless they escort Yaniv to Washington, where the tough talk continues, and Orli admits to Vance, Gibbs, and a senior official of the DoHS that she lied, and that Ilan has been in the US the whole time; Vance sends Orli and her entourage back to Israel. After Tony and Ziva hand over Yaniv in Washington, and while Tony drives Ziva home, a large SUV with a crash guard T-bones Tony's car on the passenger side. [To be continued.] Written by DocRushing

Homeland Senior Division Chief Tom Morrow: So, what are we proposing here?
Leon Vance: Well, with international tensions being so high on this... I'm proposing that we look the other way.
[Orli looks surprised]
Homeland Senior Division Chief Tom Morrow: You can't be serious.
Leon Vance: I am, Tom. We come down on Mossad hard now, then what happens? Talk to me about wasted manpower if Bodnar gets away after all this?
[looks at her]
Leon Vance: But understand: this one pass is the *last* one Mossad ever gets from me.
Homeland Senior Division Chief Tom Morrow: That makes two of us.
Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Three.
Orli Elbaz: I understand.

Deduction in presentation
3 July 2014 | by compleCCitySee all my reviews

First: This is going to be my first review ever. I beg your pardon. Second: I don't write my mother tongue. I beg your pardon.

Berlin! Cosmopolitan city in Germany. And Ziva and Tony travel there … Let me put the negative first: As in many non-German movies the film makers commit the common error to mistake Bavaria for Germany, in this case especially Prussia. (You can call Prussia and Bavaria sworn enemies. (/irony off)) I don't think you get Bavarian leather trousers as a souvenir on the Museum Island Berlin. And I also doubt you would hear Bavarian folk music in a street café in Berlin while a waitress in a Bavarian dirndl serves a "Maß" – a common size of a beer glass on the Oktoberfest in Bavarian Munich (it's 1 liter).

Despite all this the show is a consequent continuation of some story arcs regarding the series characters. Some people may find answers on questions they asked when thinking about Ziva and how incidents of former episodes might have affected her. It's well done in my eyes.

Whom I want to emphasize is Marina Sirtis. She's doing a great play. I like her much more here than in Star Trek – older and wiser and better, and more beautiful, too.

Last: This episode is a must for those who are interested in the development of the show's characters. Those who want a good old murder on a member of the Navy won't find for what they seek.
