Carrozza began building the props for the movie in October of 2010. The shoot lasted 25 months scattered from July of 2011 to August of 2013. Carrozza originally wanted to shoot the film in three, but various circumstances kept the film shoot dragging out. The problems began in casting where Carrozza has difficulty convincing the actors he wanted to join the shoot, then the person Carrozza hired as his assistant director to help him oversee the production proved unreliable and bailed days before the shoot was set to begin. Then several actors had to be replaced, the colleges Carrozza had wanted to film at refused his requests and so forth. Carrozza came close to finishing the shoot in 2012 but lost valuable time due to an actor proving unreliable and having to be fired. See more »
