Storyline

Comic Andrea Rosen is a first-time mom who has a lot to learn about kids. She decides that the best way to learn how to raise a child is by asking for other mothers' advice. She travels across the country, taking to the streets and posing questions to women of different cultures and backgrounds about raising a responsible, caring child. Each episode focuses on a specific topic that helps her with one aspect of parenthood. To paraphrase Rosen, her ultimate goal is not to raise a jerk. Written by Anonymous

I love this show!

Andrea Rosen is so funny. I love her choices of places to go as a new mother. Her humor is the best! I hope that NickMom sees the gem they have here. On one show she attempts to find a way to make her son a mama's boy by interviewing Italian women and the way they do this. Tonight's episode had her going to a nudist camp to see if it is really good for "closer family relationships." I was laughing so hard I almost choked. She gives looks to the camera that make you wish that you had her as a good friend. Most of the interviews that she does cover topics that most new moms are really concerned about or interested in, like how mothers of large families juggle all that they do. Andrea is so "real" and down to earth, I think that is one of the reasons I want to watch. I don't usually want to bother writing a review about a show but this one is worth the time.
