An antisocial veteran wakes up on Skid Row in Los Angeles with severe PTSD and amnesia. Although he has instinctive medical and fighting skills, he is unable to recall his own name, and the homeless community dubs him after his only identifiable feature: his military boots. As he slowly recovers from his condition, Boots struggles to find a connection with the other lost souls around him while surviving the every day dangers of the street and battling a mysterious government agency that pursues him.—Anonymous

ACT 1: Boots drifts alone across down town LA. Turning off a car stereo, he interrupts a robbery, saves a couple, Michael and Juliana, then tends Michael. Juliana, a local reporter, takes an interest in Boots after he drops a mysterious note.

Reacting to her screams, Boots extracts Lauras infected tooth and meets Ben and Tiffany. Juliana searches for Boots, returns home, goes back the next day. Juliana asks Boots about the note. Tiffany is hit by a car, Boots tends to her. Juliana calls for an ambulance and takes some photos.

ACT 2: Collins reports in, notices Juliana's article regarding Boots. Boots rebuilds an afghan map from his memory Juliana investigates the note with Kathryn, learns its Pashtu (Afghan). Collins searches for Boots in Skid Row. Ben and Boots explore Skid Row. Ray, Juice and Javier scheme to grab Tiffany and save face. Tiffany returns with a cast, argues with Boots. Collins confronts Juliana & Michael Ray, Juice and Javier kidnap Tiffany and beat Boots.

ACT 3: Boots recovers in his tent. Boots, Laura and Ben discuss retrieving Tiffany. Juliana and Michael argue about Boots. Ray and Juice prep Tiffany with drugs. Juliana wanders Skid Row and chats with Laura. Boots and Ben plan a ruse. Ben confronts Javier. Boots enters the Thugs HQ, rescues Tiffany, but gets captured.

ACT 4: Juliana searches in Skid Row for Boots. Boots is being tortured by Ray and Juice. Boots has a flash back of being tortured by Dulles Boots disarms the room he is held in. Collins gets the jump on Boots, Javier interrupts their meeting. Collins confronts Boots, taunts him with his name Eli.
