Dragon's Dogma II

Dragon's dogma 2 Is what happens when a crazy Japanese man, gets to make a sequel to his cult classic.

Gameplay wise it is a big improvement, it feels better to climb on Monsters, the combat feels more punchy when using the good attacks.

And each class feels fun and unique in its own way, even if I can never get behind being a mage.

And the combat is so fun and especially if you play as one of the heavier classes like warrior, where you are hit feels like a truck when they connect.

World design and combat is open enough, so you can have weird strategies, that you can put on YouTube. It is such a nicely designed game that has such open options for you.

The game has a good balance of hostile design gameplay elements, that just makes it frustrating or makes it harder and harder, like every time you continue you lose more of your full health bar.

How the game does not tell you if there is a quest in the area, you have to check up on people yourself to know if there's a quest. How many of the fun classes are hidden, So you have to just pick it up on your Adventure.

But hostility makes it more engaging and fun, because you have to think about your actions and what you're gonna do, because of the friction in the game.

I don't know how meta the story is, but it is very meta and I enjoyed it. It feels like a Dungeon Master and the player having fun at each other. And the world and character's has a charm too dem, even if they aren't the deepest.

And it has that very Japanese thing where in the third act, the story goes completely off track, and becomes a masterpiece.

I would highly recommend this game if you want an Orthodox action RPG.
