Ten minutes into the film, Dinesh D'Souza says "A century and a half ago, a young Abraham Lincoln issued a prophetic warning." That would be 1864, when he was 55. D'Souza is referring to "The Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions: Address Before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois," a speech Lincoln gave on January 27, 1838, when he was 28.
