Where Rampage dropped the ball, Collision picks it back up for a proper sister show to the already awesome AEW Dynamite.
Matches feel like they're big instead of randomly put together like Rampage was. Storylines actually progress.
And as always, great to see some real wrestling as opposed to the competitors stagnant sterilised format of "sports entertainment".
Great matches so far. Great environment. Glad it wasn't a true brand split, and is just two "different" shows. I'd be disappointed if the world didn't get more of The Acclaimed in both shows.
The only downside here is that I absolutely despise the theme song. I'm apparently in the minority here but I hate Billy Joel's music. I'm sure he's a cool dude but I can't get with the sound. Spent too long working in a pub full of boomers and it just causes me immense pain to listen to this sort of thing.
Excellent show, anyway.

AEW Collision had a difficult task in being as good or better than AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays, but so far it has succeeded. Great stories, great matches, and a great way to spend Saturday night. If I'm out, it'll be recorded. I refuse to missing an episode of this show!
Tony Khan continues to do a wonderful job in providing a high quality, American alternative to the WWE. If you're sick of soap opera storytelling in wrestling and want quality storylines based on sports and competition, you won't be disappointed.
I haven't felt this excited about wrestling in years, and it's because of AEW shows like Collision.

AEW shows mainly copy catcher drama from WWE. Recently notice the story line copied from WWE attitudes era.
The stage infrastructure also copied from WWE. They need to do something different from WWE not copy from WWE.
Show quality poor and keep depending on retired WWE superstars.
AEW depending on violence show to attract viewers. Not realizing the impact on viewers.
AEW need to think out of the box to give better entertainment to viewers and not keep coping from WWE.
AEW has lost young viewers due to this . Boring program show .
Come out with new ideas and new concepts. This will impress more your audience.

When Collision first started, I had high hopes. Unfortunately like Dynamite, it has undergone a bit of a downward spiral. Not story driven. Purely wrestling. Which again the wrestling is good. However wrestling is also about story. Plus collision they do the same matches quite a bit quite too often. AEW would benefit greatly from a Brand split. Someone running Dynamite, someone running collision. Just like WWE has with Raw and Smackdown. Again as well, it's based strictly on the match card. If it's good and has something I like, I'll take the time to watch it. But if it's something not good, I'm not gonna waste two hours of my time.
