    Entertaining Action movie

Fateh is a decent action-packed movie that you rarely find in Bollywood these days. Fateh is not that good, but it is good compared to other action films with big names from the industry. I was so happy after hearing about this film. Finally, Sonu Sood is doing a film as a lead. He has been working in the industry for more than 20 years. With his charming personality and attractive features, he would have been a hero in mainstream movies. But he failed to grab lead roles because he was not from a family with a cinema background. Besides, he has six-packs, good height, a manly/masculine voice, fashion sense and decent acting, which was a constant threat for many of the nepo kids. As a result, he faced dirty politics in the industry and kept getting supporting roles. I believe Sonu will act in films like Fateh more in the upcoming days, at least two movies per year. Best of luck to him.

Very watchable hindi action movie after long

Amongst the super hyped, so called superstar movies of bollywood and south, full of utter nonsense from start to end, this one comes as breath of fresh air. Sonu Sood has done something as director and actor with this movie which none has been able to do in recent past - creating a john-wickish but original movie which is away from typical Indian action movies (as if hollywwod was not sufficient enough, now south is also hyped into this league of rubbish content pan India). Probably for the first time in last 1 decade or so, this is a movie which you can watch without having to suffer thru mind-numbing mediocracy or feel like fast forwarding scene after scene.

Caution - if u r fan of pushpa 2, jawan, kgf, 2042 or something, this-that kind of movies, then u will most likely find this one kind of boring.. u will probably ask what is special about it? U will not feel like whisling. Nothing special probably from "cinema" perspective but a genuine, crisp, original (with some fight sequences inspired may be from kill bill and so) action movie made in Indian language, which is very very rare case.

Dialogues in most parts and script are tight. Story could have been improved avoiding few lapses here and there, the movie had the potential to be in Indian Bourne league.

Showcases great potential of Sonu Sood as director and will wait for a more polished next project of his.

    Genuine Action & Smart Story!

Tone, Script & Story: The story is about a guy who once worked for intelligence and now is retired and settled in Punjab. The main guy goes looking for a girl and in turn fight against one of the said cyber-crime organization.

During promotion Sonu said its story of every Indian. I was worried if it does not turn out well. To be frank I expected more. But no worries whatever is served is not bad.

What I liked most is the action. It's not like those movies in south. What I further liked is script it appears genuine.

Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: The village, the city, the surveillance, the cyber rooms, the characters, etc all have been captured well. Sonu, Kudos! U did well.

Music is good and goes well with the movie. Acting if considered Sonu appears slightly dim while acting as village person, but kills once action kicks in. Jacqueline is beautiful & acts nice. I think she lags in Hindi.

Final Verdict: Sonu has done a lot for people in need. He would feel good if movie does well. If you love the reason mentioned above you will love the movie. Others please support for his kindness.

Good enough story with average screenplay & visuals

Well, personally I like Sonu Sood. He is a great actor. Even in this movie, his point of acting was really strong.

Anyway, the story was good enough to produce a good movie; however, it took a nosedive just because of the average screenplay direction. For instance, when Fateh was getting details on Nimrit's disappearance, that point could have been more detailed & made the story more intense.

Secondly, a villain is the heart of Indian films. That should have been introduced in a more intensive & thrilling way.

Yet, in some points, some dialogue deliveries were mind-blowing.

Last but not least, after watching the ending point, I am assuming that there will be a part 2 of this movie, although it hasn't been announced. If there is a sequel, I hope they will learn from their mistakes & make the next part with full attention to details.

A Promising Start That Fizzles Out Into Mindless Action

I went in with decent expectations, especially considering its premise. The idea of fake loan apps and digital scams is very relevant today, and I thought it could lead to an engaging and thought-provoking story. The first half seemed promising-action was well-paced, and the storyline had a good setup, and I was genuinely invested in seeing where it would go.

But then the second half completely lost me. The film quickly devolves into nothing more than a series of mindless gunfights, to the point where it felt like I was watching someone play a third-person shooter video game. It was eventually clear that the filmmakers were heavily inspired by the action sequences in Animal, but unlike that film, Fateh failed to make those scenes anything more than repetitive and tiring.

The forced attempts at comedy during action scenes didn't land at all. In fact, they felt out of place and just awkward. As for the performances, Jacqueline Fernandez struggled to even deliver her lines correctly, with half of them sounding as mumbles. On the other hand, Naseeruddin Shah, was sadly underutilized and didn't get much to work with. Vijay Raaz, too, was just doing the same old stuff we've seen from him in previous films-no new ground broken here.

Overall, Fateh starts off with a solid premise and some decent buildup, but it completely fizzles out in the second half. The action and forced humor couldn't save it. If you're looking for something fresh or even just well-executed, this one's pretty much avoidable.
