Preachers' Daughters (2013–2015)
Frequently Asked Questions
I would skip watching this movie if you are a Christian. It feels contrived and purposeful in its stereotypical depiction of a Christian family as told by an atheist. It feels like an old movie depicting Southerners. Think back to a movie like Smokey and the Bandit and remember the Southern sheriff, Buford T Justice, played by Jackie Gleason. This will give some idea of how Christians are depicted in this movie.
A second opinion: You should skip this television series that is now in its second season if your faith is not up to being tested by reality. This is a reality show. The families involved are professed Christian families who have chosen to be in front of the cameras. The head of each family is an ordained minister. But really, why would you ever ask someone else what you "should" watch? Watch it and decide for yourself.
