The show is a good competition show. It has less drama and strategy than Survivor or The Challenge but still something that is watchable and fun. The low rating for the show, I believe, is that reviewers are thinking this is the movie (which also has Josh Duhamel), which was not that good at all. But this show sees teams of buddies (4 per team) that compete in a variety of yard games and comps. The games are of the 'anyone can do this' level and would be fun do at home with friends and family. Duhamel is a good host. And the production value is what one would expect from a show like this. Overall 7/10. Very watchable.
This show wasn't too bad. It was something to fill in the gap when Survivor or Big Brother wasn't on the air. It seemed like a legitimate competition among teams of friends. Josh Duhamel was a good host. His light-hearted approach seemed to make the show more real. I would watch it again if they have a second season.
I would hope they can somehow make it so the teams can't unite against another team just because they don't like them or something about them. I'd also hope they give out uniforms that fit next time. That one lady had to make rig her top with shoe laces just to make it fit. Seemed kind of silly that she had to do that.

I don't like survivor or those others shows that are like however, this was fun to watch. Having middle age parents who grew up in the 80s having fun with their buddies trying to win challenges was exciting to watch. It became addicting. Besties learning teamwork and overcoming fears to win. Adapt and overcome. Will they sustain injuries? We are no spring chickens anymore. Very diverse teams. Everyone is from different backgrounds and adds to the entertainment value. Every challenge and event is never what you expect or predict to happen. This show keeps you on the edge of your seat. Binge worthy show.
