Tufang

I watched this recently in the cinemas with family and thought it would just be another classic 'Indian' action cliche...but it's not. Tufang is a beautifully made thriller movie with a unique plot compared to traditional movie.

The suspense themes within the movie are extremely alluring to the extent that i couldn't wait for the 10 minute interval. It is an extremely excellent movie which i can hands down recommend to anyone and everyone.

In the end, Tufang is a great must watch for people looking for a phenomenal movie with a unique plot which doesn't end in a traditional cliche with too much fighting and arguing. Rather this is a beautiful thriller with a special twist.

Ok so saw this film on chaupal. I must admit I have seen bad stories which were produced by some novices this has to be cherry on cake I mean 🍒 on 🎂. The writer makes you wonder for 40 minutes to understand what is story all about. He forgets that in 15 minutes you have to tell the basic premise. But perhaps he thinks Punjabi film viewers are sheeps whom he can feed any fodder. Overall I am giving 3 for the effort of the team. And I would request director and writer to please write and direct something good. I know you need to feed your family and bring bread on the table but kindly don't insult art.

Tufang is an amazing film from start to finish. I love the fact that we the antagonist before we meet the protagonist (unlike other Punjabi films) and from the get go we are hooked to what's gonna happen next!

The reveals in the film are setup well and the payoff make you go "Oh wow!" If there was a film to represent "Chekhov's Gun" this is it! Totally unexpected and well done!

Guri and Jagjeet Sandhu both are well matched in terms of their performance and character arcs. Rukhsaar Dhillon delivers a balanced performance as well. Each actor looks like the true embodiment of the character. Very well directed and amazing writing by Dheeraj Rattan.

A must watch for Punjabi cinema lovers!!
