Yeah, little Declan-boy. You hang on to Charlotte? You? No way fella.
Yet another character from Emily's past has crawled out of the woodwork. Eli James. Here's hoping this one will also fade away after a three or four episode story arc. It is noticed that this character immediately sees through the whole subterfuge and hey, how come the Graysons aren't a tenth as bright as the black dude? Everybody, especially Jack, would have remembered Young Amanda and come off it, everybody, or at least most, in real-life, would have recognized Emily as Amanda grown up. Victoria Grayson, had she been a real-life character, would definitely have seen through the charade long ago. It's not as if Emily Thorne is a quiet little wallflower, she's been in Victoria's hair from Day One... Hell, everybody knows what I am harping about.
Only two disks left for Season Two. Don't think that I am unimpressed with the show. I might sound like its biggest detractor, but I've just been pointing out weak points episode by episode. It has a very brittle story-line which doesn't stand up to inspection; the wheeling and dealing and double- crossing and triple-crossing is a tangled, complicated mess...and characters appear that are obviously on short tenures, there for a few weeks, till they get killed off and replaced with even-meaner counterparts. This bit gets totally predictable. You know the current baddie won't last very long, it's as if their work visas expire after a month on the set.
But I'm not knocking the show. It has that glitzy appeal. But I'll keep on complaining...
