Not sure about this episode.

Almost every bit of evidence used to catch and convict the perpetrator of the crime in this episode was available to detectives within days of the crime. The perpetrator was one of the first suspects mentioned in the episode. I'm not sure I'd be a detective boasting on television how they "got their guy" when it took six PLUS years to do it. There were threatening letters from the suspect to the victim, cell phone records, the perpetrator's blood at the crime scene, unique duct tape that was only available to the main suspect, and it still took six years to catch the guy? It's also sad the the victim repeatedly invited this type of element into her life.
