Sex & Nudity

  • A young soldier and a girl whom he just met kiss on a bed for a few seconds; sex is implied, although nothing is shown.

Violence & Gore

  • Strong violence, gory images.
  • Blood sprays briefly when soldiers are shot.
  • A man is stabbed through the eyeball, and blood spurts.
  • When Norman cleans the tank, he finds part of a man's face flesh is seen inside the tank, as it reveals part of his face and his eyeball, we can tell it has been ripped off by an explosion, in which makes him vomit, while it is only shown for a few seconds. It is a very graphic scene.
  • A man is killed by three stabbings to the face (seen from a distance). Blood is briefly shown on the victim's face.
  • A tank is hit by an anti-tank weapon and soldiers on fire emerge from inside. One burning soldier takes out his pistol and shoots himself in the head while yelling in pain. Many of the attackers are shot bloodlessly.
  • A soldier is blown up by a tank shell.
  • Several scenes of people being decapitated by artillery fire.
  • A dead body is shown lying in the mud, squashed into a flat mess. A tank is shown running over the squashed corpse in graphic detail.
  • A soldier throws himself onto a live grenade to save a fellow soldier, the grenade explodes and kills him, although this is not shown in graphic detail.
  • Many shootings and deaths throughout.
