Sex & Nudity

  • A young soldier and a girl whom he just met kiss on a bed for a few seconds; sex is implied, although nothing is shown.

Violence & Gore

  • German children are hanged for refusing to fight
  • A soldier's skull is crushed by an attacker's boot,
  • Two soldiers find the corpses of a group of German officers and women who apparently committed suicide together. It is implied that they shot and stabbed themselves. Their bodies have substantial amounts of blood on them.
  • Bulldozers are shown pushing piles of bloodied bodies.
  • Soldiers place a dead soldier on the hood of the tank and set the body on fire
  • There is a massive battle between a tank crew and an SS battalion. We see many soldiers gunned down and blood spray, bodies blown apart and heads being blown off with showers of blood.
  • There are two large tank battles that are very intense, lots of explosions and gunfire throughout each battle.
  • A Nazi is mowed down by a machine gun. Blood spurts out multiple times.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman/girl is killed by a missile that hits a house. She is seen lying in the rest of the house when a man runs after to look for her.
  • An explosive breaches the shell of a tank and hits one of the soldiers inside, he falls to the floor with a large bloody wound on his abdomen
  • Bible is shot in the face, blood spurts, we see a brief glimpse of his wound.
  • During the final battle Wardaddy is shot multiple times, blood sprays each time, he then sacrifices himself to save Norman. This scene is very emotional.
  • A soldier throws himself onto a live grenade to save a fellow soldier, the grenade explodes and kills him, this is not shown in graphic detail.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 4 out of the 5 soldiers die in the end. Very emotional.
