Two strangers find their lives colliding in an impossible way. Alex is a methodical cargo thief working for a dangerous cartel. Sam is a determined paramedic trying to save the world while running from her past.
Due to the personal nature of writer-director Mader's story (he calls it his most personal screenplay as of 2016) and a dogged commitment to maintain its creative integrity, the filmmaker chose to produce the film independently, free from any industry funding and the strings that inevitably come with it, hence the longer and unconventional shooting schedule as financing was raised along the way. Santa Monica's Laemmle Monica hosted this intriguing tale that involved a captivating concept that left you wondering about the infinite possibilities of life. The creative cinematography aligned well with the theme and what a pleasure to see Bruce Davidson shining on the big screen. Awaiting the DVD to delve into this film again. Exciting to see this idea come to reality.
