Goofs

There is a limited amount of time that one's assets can be frozen by the government. Since Michelle is an ex-felon and not a parolee (there is no parole in the federal prison system) the adjudication of her sentence is down and her assets would have been released. Even if the government seized some as fines and retribution for any possible victims, Michelle should have more than enough assets to remain wealthy, including deferred compensation. See more »

Quotes

Claire: Michelle, if you can't give me a raise, I can't continue to work here.
Michelle Darnell: Well, look who finally showed up to my seminar. About time, Claire, I love it. I didn't know you were listening all these years. What am I always saying?
Tito: Don't go in that room!
Michelle Darnell: True. I do say that, but I also say, you want something, you gotta take it. Claire, you just took it and you grew a pair in the process.
Claire: I'm holding your earrings?
Michelle Darnell: You're holding a pair of earrings, as in 2001 I paid $ 62,000 for it, and that's your ...

Do you have to be immoral to be funny????.
10 April 2016 | by lovenewyork-21166See all my reviews

Melissa McCarthy stars in a senseless adult comedy movie. "The Boss" failed to entertain me from the start till the end.The comedy is too cheap and the obscenity in language and behavior did not make me laugh at all. Honestly,I thought I am watching a silly porn-like comedy movie.

Melissa McCarthy portrays the role of Michelle Darnell, a shameless and a selfish businesswoman who does everything bad for the sake of her own arrogant welfare. Her wicked and reckless behavior led to her imprisonment of course.

I am totally disappointed with this boring movie because its senseless vulgarity and the lack of comedy made of this film a total waste of time and a bad movie of the year 2016.
