A double agent had enough of the danger and horrible terrorism she's making under orders in multiple countries, her breaking free was not easy ,and the people she thought she knew are far from what she expected.
Nadia El Gendy,
This high octane thriller focuses on Lucas, (Sam Worthington), a solitary assassin, hired to kill a young woman, Ella, (Odeya Rush). When he can't bring himself to pull the trigger the plan falls apart, setting in motion a twisted game of cat and mouse. Now both are marked for death and forced to form an uneasy alliance. Relentlessly pursued across Europe, their only hope for survival is to expose those responsible for brutally murdering her family and bring them to justice.
Filming took place in Yorkshire and Hungary. See more »
10m50 into the movie you see the number plate of the jeep. It's supposed to be from Switzerland but there doesn't exist a state with the abbreviation "GN" neither are there letters below, numbers only. See more »
[in the trunk, voice trembling]
Hello? Are you there? Why aren't we moving? What's happening?
[straining as he's getting ready to shoot heroine in the driver's seat]
Just... Talk to me.
I don't know what to say.
Tell me about your father.
I hate my dad. All reason I'm in this stupid trunk is 'cause of him! It's all his fault... Such an asshole. Then my mom dies and he marries a total bitch. God I hate them... They don't even want me around.
Sometimes dads make mistakes.

While I was watching The Hunter's Prayer I couldn't stop thinking it's all been done before and way better. I watched it until the end though without having great expectations that the storyline would differ from the other similar movies. And it didn't, no surprises at all. Just an average action thriller about a contract killer having some remorse. The acting isn't that bad, but it isn't great either. Never saw a junkie in my life before that could still act normally, especially being a contract killer where you need some accuracy. So that was kind of dumb in my eyes, but than again it's just fiction. So if you have the chance to chose a movie just pick another one with the same story instead of this one because it's all been done better before.
