An artist puts on a last performance piece that involves him punching himself to death in a self-sacrifice. Witnessing the performance is a journalist student. Through curiosity and the possibility to make a name for himself he decides to investigate on the meaning of this last art and why it was so important to this man. Through his research he seeks out his former roommate and his muse; a beautiful girl that the student can't help but fall for himself. Slowly the student delves deep into the artist life where he is finally able to understand the best motivation.
