The one show I couldn't even compare to any other. The way Clause was portrayed and then the seasons showed such a complicated change of a person in such an anti-villain way was astounding. What a stubborn self absorbed creature he was to begin with.... then by the end of the show, if you're a real person you should have had some claim to the toils and emotions that me, and many others must have seen and felt. How frustrated and excited I was simultaneously so many times it was ridiculous. The development and understanding of all the characters not only Clause but his siblings too. The best thing that ever came from the vampire diaries. A much more mature and gritty programme than its former show. Of which I'm glad came to aire to create this whole other origination story. I loved and at the same time cringed in almost every episode. Such an emotional grip. Beautiful, riveting, exciting and emotional.
