A yellow blades had been used in the Kenner Toy line for the very first Luke Skywalker action figure in 1987 and many different colored blades appeared in varous Dark Horse comics before Attack of the Clones established that Jedi generally only used blue and green blades (Mace Windu being an exception). A beautiful and emotional ending to the best season of the show by far.

This is Star Wars at it's finest. Real story, real character emotions and arcs, real dialogue. The last shot of this episode alone is better than the entire prequel trilogy. Dave Filoni took these fictional characters and made them real and believable. Season 5 was a rollercoaster, and between this arc and Darth Maul overtaking Mandalore, it was a fantastic ride. I'm giving not only this episode, not only this arc, but the entirety of Season 5, a 10/10, and I think all television shows, not just cartoons, should strive to be as good as this.
