Single mom relocates from the Big Apple to the Big Ville-Louisville, My Old Kentucky Home. Michelle's performance is serviceable, but big brother Bob really shines in his acting debut. His timing, acting chops, and overall joie de vivre really makes this episode Emmy worthy. Whether he is feigning concern over rocks in the yard, or joking about roasting marshmallows from the dining room table, he is certainly destined for success on the small and silver screens. While technically his is a supporting role, he steals every scene he's in, and leaves the viewer longing for more during scenes he is not in. Not since Clooney and Depp has Kentucky produced such a fine, and I'll say it, handsome, leading man. The only thing missing from this magnus opus of a performance was a Bollywoodesque song and dance number. As unorthodox as that would be in a realty home show, he most certainly could've pulled it off, leaving the viewers dancing in their living rooms during the Charmin commercial. HGTV needs to roll out the red carpet and put a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to showcase more of this generational talent.
