Quotes

Piper Chapman: And I'm happy for him, but he got he got so much of it so wrong. I'm not somebody's girlfriend. I'm not some cool story at a yuppie fucking cocktail party. You did a year in the Peace Corps? I did a year in prison. Fuck, no! Those things we did, you and me, that wasn't adventure or a romp. That was my life.

Good but not greatest series so far
3 August 2016 | by 851222See all my reviews

Greetings from Lithuania.

So after watching 8 episodes of season 1 i can safely say that they were pretty good, but not the best series i've seen - by far. What i do like about the show overall that there multiple characters and their stories inside of prison, as well as stories (or more like glimpses) of how have they got there.

Acting is very good by all involved, script is good, but story itself lakes some more interesting ways. I know, that if they would have overdone it with twists and plots, show itself would quickly lose plausibility, so it's kinda good, but kinda feels boring sometimes.

Nevertheless, i'm enjoying series so far and will definitely see all season 1, maybe i will even check season 2.
