Storyline

With Arthur's forces outnumbered, Merlin arrives in his guise as the aged sorcerer to defeat Morgana's army with magic. Arthur kills Mordred but is wounded and rescued by Merlin, who reveals that he is a wizard. Arthur is initially hostile but, advised by Gaius, allows Merlin to take him to the healing lake of Avalon. On the journey, Arthur comes to appreciate everything Merlin has ever done for him and eyes him with a new respect, even softening in his attitude to magic, but Morgana is pursuing them. Can they make it to Avalon ahead of her? Written by don @ minifie-1

Quotes

Arthur: He's a sorcerer.
[Gaius doesn't answer]
Arthur: You knew.
Gaius: Arthur, he is your friend.
Arthur: I want him gone.
Gaius: There is no need to fear him.
Arthur: Have him take word to Camelot, to Guinevere.
Gaius: We can not send Merlin. I will go.
Arthur: I need a physician right now, not a sorcerer.
Gaius: He can do far more than me, far more than you can ever imagine. Arthur, he doesn't just have magic. There are those who say he's the greatest sorcerer ever to walk the earth.

Worst finale ever
25 December 2012 | by bert_denolfSee all my reviews

Going to ignore how this show ended because this last episode was beyond doubt pure crap. The writers messed up wanting to rush everything into the last 20 minutes what was really a wrong choice and made the ending very stupid and unreal (seriously, what's up with the last 10 seconds??). Really a shame because I always looked forward to new episode of this show and I always appreciated it a lot. I'm feeling violated after seeing the way how this ended.
