Good mix of Horror and Thriller
31 October 2014 | by pgrievesSee all my reviews

Rotten Tomatoes gave this film 20%. That's 2 out of 10. Why?

After watching this i have to ask myself if some critics just love to hate a film and maybe are completely saturated in screen viewing to the point of being desensitized? They say this film is "ludicrous that logical conjecture is doomed to fail.....it lacks sophistication...that it's predictable and obvious".

It's a horror film and it's a thriller - it's not a documentary!! It's not an educational program to bring the masses IQ into genius? It has twists and turns and interesting death and dieing concepts for those with an imagination in the esoteric or occult afterlife.

I have no idea what a critic expects - lots of "the sixth sense" again and again and over and over with caliber actors? it appears it made U.S. $4,500k a the box office. I would have paid a ticket to go and see it.

Yes - the film feels a bit stilted at times - but as whole it does what it's designed to do - gives you a bit of scare, thrills you and makes you guess how it might all be concluded?

It's good to see an Australian actor playing a main role too.
