A crime thriller set in futuristic city. After falsely testifying for his company, an insurance salesman is terrorized by an unknown villain who seemingly can see his every movement.
Not a bad opening. Builds up a blade runner esque world in the first several minutes with hints of a gritty triad drama.
But then the noir atmosphere and sci fi scenics disappear as we're taken on a journey from a nice office with 2020 decor, to a nice restaurant with 1980s decor, to an apartment with 1990s decor, to a street with some 1950s cars whilst everyone uses a tiny phone with HUD's in a desperate attempt to remind the viewer that this is set in the future.
Plot reminded me of The Usual Suspect's. Execution not so.
Decent enough for a Friday night with a couple of beers.
