Trivia

The film's title comes from a book of the same name by Dr. Rice Broocks, which focuses on the subject of apologetics (Greek "apologia" for an intellectual defense). Broocks is credited with having provided apologetics research on the film as well. The song performed by the Newsboys was actually written by Daniel Bashta and originally titled "Like A Lion". Quotes

Josh Wheaton: I could drop the class, run away, pretend like it never happened, which is what my girlfriend wants. I could sign the paper saying something I don't believe. Or I commit academic suicide in front of a live audience by trying to prove that God exists.
Reverend Dave: How many people in that class?
Josh Wheaton: Eighty maybe.
Reverend Dave: And how may of them do you think would ever step foot in here, or any other church for matter?
Josh Wheaton: Well, none probably.
Reverend Dave: So, your acceptance of this challenge, if you decide to accept it, may be the only ...

s@*t... This Movie is disgusting on so many levels (spoiler)
21 November 2015 | by aditya765-1See all my reviews

This is my first review ever i have never felt so much emotion for or against any movie that it made me put down my feelings in words. This movie is s@*t such a brilliant concept to make a believer argue against a non believer and if they had stuck to this argument this movie probably might have been better than the utter s@*t that it is in its current form. This movie is propagandist bull s@*t in favour of one religion against all other who the f%@k makes this kind of s@*t in the 21st century like i don't even care for religion that much but i cant believe the intolerant b.s that this movie is and the powers that be that allowed for such a movie to be made. forget the argument if god exists or not the mere fact that they say god is dead means he once existed and that is such a dumb position for an atheist to take because they don't even believe in the existence of a god and maybe that should have been my first hint for the kind of crap i was gonna out myself through for almost 2 hours. its like at the moment all i feel like saying is YUCK!!! YUCK!!! YUCK!!! YUCK!!! YUCK!!!. This movie literally made me puke and i don't use the word literally lightly.
