Trivia

The orange tubular frame with two black handles hanging in the cockpit of Ochi's ship is the same as in Apollo's lunar module (LM). In the LM, this frame is the guard of the Alignement Optical Telescope (AOT), used by Apollo astronauts for navigation. This is likely a nod to the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing, which was celebrated in the year of the movie release. See more »

Goofs

The logic behind Rey naming herself as "Rey Skywalker" makes little to no sense within the context of Rey's relationship with Luke Skywalker's nephew Ben Solo. As well as the fact that she clearly expected him to live. So it would had been weird if Rey had intended to name herself as Rey Skywalker if the former lived. See more »

Kylo Ren: I killed Snoke. I'll kill you.
Emperor Palpatine: My boy, I made Snoke. I have been every voice...
Snoke: ..you have ever heard..
Darth Vader: ...inside your head.
Emperor Palpatine: The First Order was just the beginning. I will give you so much more.
Kylo Ren: You'll die first.
Emperor Palpatine: I've died before. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural.
Kylo Ren: What could you give me?

It is Battlefield earth! Decades old aircraft rise from the depths and water and are staffed and ready to go!?!?!?

There is a Strider style speech to a dying and dwindling force and because JJ is a rip off he has to steal from Star trek and has teleportation here too. BEAM ME AWAY FROM THIS CRAP
