Revolves around a local cop struggling to keep his family together while simultaneously policing two clashing communities: the small town where he grew up and the neighboring mountains, home of a Native American tribe. After a terrible tragedy and coverup occurs involving the cop's wife, an unholy alliance is forged between the cop and Phillip Kopus, a dangerous member of the tribe that will come back to haunt all involved.

Did You Know?
The original working title for the series was called "The Descendants". Walking the Red Road is a native American term: "Walking the Red Road" is a determined act of living within the Creator's instructions. Basically, it is living a life of truth, humbleness, respect, friendship, and spiritually. Those on this road are by no means walking a perfect path, but are in search of self-discovery and instructions. " (ref Native American Commitment to Wellness and Respect Blog, David A. Patterson Silver Wolf). Presumably the new title came from that term. See more
