Storyline

Adam (Robin Nielsen) works as a junior associate for a large Toronto law firm. When a business trip takes him to his hometown of Fernie, he reunites with his old friends, Jason (Viv Leacock) and Theo (James Wallis). Adam gets more than he bargained for when he finds out that, due to a series of terrible business decisions, Theo's ski waxing business "Waxopolis" is in serious financial trouble and at risk of being taken over by an evil developer. The three guys hatch a plan to throw a massive fundraising party to try and save the business. But, with the developer and his son on their back, party permit hassles, and a Sasquatch on the loose, will they be able to pull it off? Written by Anonymous

surprisingly, its a pretty decent movie
10 June 2013 | by jihadjake323See all my reviews

This movie is definitely no masterpiece but at least it wasn't an hour and a half commercial for Kokanee which is what I was pretty much expecting but they actually are pretty subtle about it. I personally think it deserves a little more than the 3.2 rating it currently has. It kind of reminds me of the classic National Lampoon movies before they really started to go downhill and with a little bit of tweaking it potentially could have been a much better movie than it was.

There were a few pretty solid jokes that made me laugh and some that went just a little too far or kept going way too long like the whole breast milk scene on the airplane that did't go anywhere or add anything to the story. It has a very strong Canadian influence which people from other countries may not understand nearly as much as someone from the beautiful Province of British Columbia like myself. If you are looking for a movie that you can just chill out, drink a few beers, have some laughs and don't try to over analyze it then I would recommend this one for you. It has Beer, Babes, Boobs, The Kokanee Rangers, and of course the Sasquatch
