Fearing emotions for Cat trigger his episodes, Vince lets JT lock him up in a cage and keep a tranquilizer gun handy while testing an endorphins-based potential cure. Actually it boosts his strength enough to break out of the cage and his memory, notably of Vanessa Chandler being on the Muirfuild team that injected his team in Afghanistan. The police duo must babysit cocky adolescent rap star Jake Riley, whose manager Chris Miller Always shielded him for death threats, yielding many suspects, but doesn't tell the cops everything either. Told about her mother, Cath goes snoop at home and learns her father knew she kept grim secrets, and still has her files in the garage. To produce the cure, JT must use Evan's equipment while he returns to his subway abduction site. Written by KGF Vissers
Catherine and J.T work together towards finding out what is wrong with Vincent and he needs a dose of medication to keep him from his danger and unpredictable behaviour.
On a lighter note Catherine and Tess are working on a case to protect a young tween music star. Some great scenes involving the lovely Tess Vargas and the little superstar Jake Riley. I can't get over Tess' face when she's called * diversity barbie*.
Evan is still traumatised from his ordeal but this has only heightened his suspicions and investigating the *thing* . In J.T's quest to find a cure, Vincent is remembering his days in Afghanistan but this spells trouble for both him and Catherine.
Very intense but fun episode, great stuff.
