Trivia

The first J.J. Abrams film not to be scored by Michael Giacchino, as the Star Wars franchise composer John Williams returned to score the film. Coincidentally, Giacchino scored Jurassic World (2015), a sequel to Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), which were both scored by Williams. That film credits Williams for its use of his iconic theme music. See more »

Goofs

In Rey and Han's first scene outside the Millennium Falcon on Takodana, the lighting changes radically. When Rey speaks, she is brightly backlit by low-angle sun. But when Han speaks, he is softly lit by an overcast sky. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Lor San Tekka: This will begin to make things right. I've traveled too far and seen too much to ignore the despair in the galaxy. Without the Jedi, there can be no balance in the Force.
Poe Dameron: Well, because of you, now we have a chance. The General's been after this for a long time.
Lor San Tekka: Oh, the General? To me, she is royalty.
Poe Dameron: Well, she certainly is that.

Too Many Jokes
4 December 2018 | by hiromi_tsubetaeSee all my reviews

Disney has subverted Star Wars into one of its lame and boring childish films aimed at selling toys to preteens. I am sure McDonalds was poisoning more people than ever before by hawking Star Wars toys from Disney. Not a film for adults.
