Goofs

Kylo Ren placing his helmet on ashes was actually taken from a different scene, earlier in the film, and only inserted into his interrogation of Rey during editing. Evidence of this can be seen in the final cut of the film. When Kylo Ren takes off his mask, he holds it in his right hand as he approaches Rey. In the close-up of him putting it down, however, he puts it down with his left hand. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Lor San Tekka: This will begin to make things right. I've traveled too far and seen too much to ignore the despair in the galaxy. Without the Jedi, there can be no balance in the Force.
Poe Dameron: Well, because of you, now we have a chance. The General's been after this for a long time.
Lor San Tekka: Oh, the General? To me, she is royalty.
Poe Dameron: Well, she certainly is that.

Trashy remake

I hate trash remakes and especially those which themselves too seriously, and this one does just that. I will probably remember this gender switch reboot forever, because it was so bad, it can never be unseen.

At least next time get us a pretty girl instead of the angry chick with a chip on her shoulder.
