Storyline

Miles, Charlie, Aaron and Nora arrive at Freeport, Pennsylvania some 290 miles from Philadelphia where a major bridge will let them cross the Allegheny river. They walk into a trap however where militia Sgt. Will Strausser and his men are waiting for them. Strausser has taken Nora's sister Mia prisoner and his price for freeing her is simple: the pendant and Miles Matheson. They free her, but still have to find a way to get across the river. In Philadelphia, Jason Neville is being harshly interrogated and there is little that his father can do - until he gets hold of some information about another militia officer. Flashbacks reveal how Nora and Mia survived after the blackout. Mia has found their long-lost and Nora must choose between reuniting with her family or keeping her promise to Miles and Charlie. Goofs

When the suggestion is made to find another bridge, Miles Matheson states that the nearest bridge is in Morgantown which is over 100 miles away. Firstly, there are 15 bridges in Pittsburgh, PA a mere 27 miles away that cross the Allegheny River. However, between the nearest Pittsburgh bridge and the Freeport bridge, there are 4 additional bridges, the farthest one being only 15 miles away, the nearest one being roughly 8 miles.

While this appeared to be a goof, Miles explained the militia had destroyed all of the other bridges. See more »

Quotes

Miles Matheson: Corporal.
Sgt. Will Strausser: I'm a sergeant now.
Miles Matheson: Well, let's be honest, you're a sociopath, is what you are. Before the blackout, you'd have been locked in a rubber room.

Revolution is Awesome
16 November 2012 | by anglesmith719See all my reviews

Every one in my office at DISH agrees that the gang trying to get across the bridge was more a distraction then anything, but watching Nora's flashbacks did a lot for me as far as enjoying her character goes. She and Mia had it pretty bad after the black out. I won't give any spoilers, but after what happens between those two I can't wait to see the next episode. I am visiting the in-laws for Thanksgiving and I didn't have a chance to set my DVR to record revolution and I have been worried the whole time. But my wife said our Hopper automatically records all of the prime time TV on the big four networks, so it will be waiting when I get home and I can start enjoying my stay.
